Heng Tai Industrial Corp. has been engaged in manufacturing top-grade door locks, door handles & knobs, and other associated products for over three decades. In 1978, we set up a 21,600-square-foot factory in Kueishan, Taoyuan County, Taiwan, with our products selling well and highly recommended for their superior quality by both the domestic and overseas markets. However, attracted by mainland China's low labor costs, we moved much of our production to Qingdao City afterwards.
Our Taiwan plant is still operating, but focusing only on developing and producing top-grade products. In 1998, our Taiwan plant started to apply the world-class Swarovski crystal to our products by developing a series of cabinet/gate-use crystal handles/knobs, greatly surprising players in the field, and attracting the attention of Swarovski's Austria-based headquarters.
This made us first in the world to successfully create a new function and market for crystal, by combining it with furniture.
